Re: Disposing of a trashed c-boat.

I'm surprised Blackfly hasn't given you a discount and trade for "Jeremy's Bane" as that is truly a Frankenboat :D But recycling is good... :)

Re: Would love to demo Skeeter-like boat.

I would recommend the GDI group on facebook. There's a few on there who have skeeters, and superfly's and spanishflys. I'd recommend trying the Option/L'Edge/Blink type boats as well with you coming from an Outrage :)

Re: Blackfly delta

The original Blackfly Blackfly was very stable and playful...and from what I've been told the Delta is improved. I'm sure you'd love it! :D

Re: AC/DC review

A Center Thwart...well that's gotta go I'd say if you want a kneeling thwart. Shorten and move that baby forward a bit :)

Re: AC/DC review

Sounds like it will be a great boat. I've found putting the kneeling thwart about 8" from the center of the canoe is a great starting point. :D

Re: C1 playboat help/advise

Not necessarily longer...but wider is better :) I think most of the playboats you like as a kayak also work pretty well as C-1's these days. If you want it for pure park and play I'd opt for a medium size for your size. The larges tend to feel more stable but a medium would be easier to throw around.
