RPM Max as a C-1 conversion?

I'm 5'10" 200lbs and presently paddle a WS Big EZ and a Nomad 8.5, both conversions, as well as a Pyranha Prelude. I'm looking for a pure river runner. Something I can paddle Class II III with, catching eddies, ferrying and a little front surfing. Is the RPM Max the answer? I've never been in one an...

The Habs?

Only Quecbexicans want to play for the Canadiens. The rest of the country cheers for the Maple Leafs!

Sir Adam, I'll see if we can find you some Spruce Soda.

Pyranha I3 223 or Wave Sport EZG 60 as a C-1?

I'm 5'11" and approx 200Lbs and looking for a boat to convert to river run with, as well as playboat. I have a Wave Sport BIG EZ, however, I feel like I'm white knuckle paddling when trying to river run. Has anyone tried Pyranha I3 223 as a C-1? I'm also thinking a Wave Sport EZG 60 might work well ...

I've always paddled with all four fingers split evenly over the t-grip. I noticed three finger dive mitts allow the index finger to be covered by it's self. I would be concerned with the amount of control you would have over the paddle. Has anyone used these? Getting back to the original thread... I...

Does anyone know if there are a pair of two finger mittens avaible out there anywhere. The MEC gloves I use are so thick my hands have to hold the paddle with a Death Grip! And the Gul gloves I have are way too thin! I was also thinking of using the Gul gloves under a pair of pogies. Has anyone else...

Sorry eh... I just watched the video again. This time in the small screen verson. If you look closely at the large block letters under the video, it says Big Sandy Creek is in West Virginia.

I'm thinking of class II/III river running. Catching some eddies along the way and maybe some mellow surfing. What are peoples thoughts on the Dagger Atom? Martin, I recall you telling me last summer, if you had to choose one boat, it would be the Sith. It was the first boat I looked at. Do you thin...

River running C-1?

I'm thinkng about buying or building a river running C-1. I'm 5'11" 195Lbs. Any suggestions on a hull I should consider starting with, or a boat thats ready to hit the water.

Thanks for the input, Ryan.
