Re: Whitesell Piranha Flotation bags

You probably will want 60" bags or larger depending won which boat you have, but I have a set of 54" nylon bags for sale on the "boats for sale" section of this forum for $90

Re: BigDog Force OC1?

I like mine. I took all the factory outfitting out, cut out the beer can decks front and back and built a foam saddle very similar to the factory one and added foot pegs from an old kayak. I foamed out the sides where the tanks were. I like the way it paddles very much. It has nice edges and carves ...

Re: Everyone's favorite topic...

Looks very similar to StaBond to me. If it is then be very, very careful. Apply it as thinly as possible and wait until it has dried completely to oppose the two surfaces. If you want to use this product, I would advise buying a new can and trash the old one from the friends basement. I stingily use...

Re: Detonator in heavy water - what am I doing wrong?

The Detonator really likes to go stern first in big water. It is loose in spite of its reasonable edges (double chines). You just have to paddle it very aggressively all the time.

I want to trade my Pyranha bags

I have a pair of original Pyranha bags in great shape that have never been patched and don't leak. I would like to trade them even up for a pair of 60" nylon bags in the same condition. I'll ship mine to you. You ship yours to me.

Re: Bear Barrels question...

If you really aren't concerned about the bears, five gallon buckets with gamma seal lids from Lowes or Home Depot will keep things dry and the set is around ten bucks.
