Re: Core C-1 paddle

Here is a review I did on the Core Batto C1- http://cboats.net/cforum3/viewtopic.php ... ilit=batto" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Anything with Easton on the name is going to be quality (the paddle shaft) the rest is sub-par.

Re: Big Dog Force OC-1

I'm 190#. When trimmed neutral its only 'ok' in the dry department. When trimmed bow light, as the designers intended it to be trimmed, its much drier and more more sporty as it climbs over stuff instead of nosing through it. Boofs much better too. Is it as dry as a L'Edge? No, but its a different k...

Re: Astral Brewer watershoe

Creeker- nope, normal shoes fit me. They are great looking shoes and look well built, its a shame they are so narrow in the arch area.

Re: Astral Brewer watershoe

Well... just got a box of them in the mail. I normally wear a 8.5 - 9 and the 9 and 10 were too narrow through the arch area for me.

Re: Astral Brewer watershoe

I'm getting a shipment of them in today, so I'll let you know what I think about them. Ref Creekers comment about the Sperry's, I had great traction with mine until about two weeks ago when I was scrambling in a canyon scouting a drop. Not sure if it was the difference in rock type or whatnot but th...

Re: C1 Playboating massacre!

I'd suggest upsizing your C1 playboat size. In a C1 we're sitting higher and need the extra stability of a slightly bigger/wider boat. Here are the C1 playboats I have (or have had), and notes about each. I'm 5'7" 190# with a 7" saddle for comparison. Monstar- Felt huge, super stable, I used it to c...

Re: Big Dog Force OC-1

TGG- you can drop 12 pounds really quick by switching out the side tanks with minicell foam. You can get about three pounds off by cutting the decks off and replacing the plastic/metal thwarts with wood.

Re: OC1 knee straps?

For the plastic strips to insert into the inside of the tubular webbing, I'd suggest heading to Lowes and getting some extra long heavy duty zip ties. You can get them a couple feet long and they work good without being too wide.

Re: The H2O-C1 Team paddle, large grip or small grip?

If you are wanting the Bent shaft, wait a bit... the fix is in to get it in a better location. As for straight shaft, they are correct.. there is no rubber lower hand grip on it and when ordering its not an option.
