That is some of the smoothest looking cuts that I have seen. Wish I could find a tool that would cut that good.

Mat, will keep an eye out for it on this end of KY. I see alot of boats traveling from your way to Russel fork, so I might be able to spot it for you. Any pics of it will help.

I really like my probe 12. Very stable, but yet it turns on on a dime. It is much more responsive than the XL series. You will feel like you went from a tank to a sportscar.

Give me a call any time you want to go. I am in East KY and I do some slower water, class 2s and 3s, not much above that. WE got some good stuff to learn on down this way. Like the Red River or Elk Creek or if you want to step it up a notch, we can do some creeking or do a lighter section of Russel ...

undercut rocks

just wondering what the best method for an OC-1 when you come upon an undercut rock that a sweeping sideway current is pushing you toward. You try to paddle hard away, but the current is pushing your boat sideways to the rock, or it could also be a large downed tree that you are going to hit paralle...

Ankle blocks

Would gorilla glue be alright for glueing down ankle blocks to a probe 12?

There need to be more areas where people can go and try it for the first time for a nominal fee. That way they are not reluctant to shuck out the big bucks for a new toy.

My spouse is timid also, ever since we flipped on the New River at Surprise. WE were both circulated pretty hard and she cried the rest of the trip. I dont do anything more than class 2 now and was hoping she would get over it, but that was 15 years ago and it is no better now. My solution, I bought...

I just had a couple of trips in my probe 12- but I really like it so far! Havent really pushed it to my limit yet, but it seems to be dry and very stable. Just what I was looking for in a solo. And this is my second boat from Mohawk. They are always good to work with.
