Take care of yourself my friend! Lots of great ideas in that head of yours - though very frustrating a short delay isn't worth worse health.

Thank you for keeping everyone updated!

Sell the Angst, keep the Acro. You'll miss it, and it takes up far less space than an open boat (so it should only count for .3 boats ;) )

Video forum...s?

Question for all of you - should we keep the videos / links in one place (as now) or separate out "critique" for things like this: http://cboats.net/cforum/viewtopic.php?t=7963936 vs. trips / videos. A few other forums have done this, and it seems to work... but we do have "a few" subforums these da...

New Sheriffs in town...

Well, perhaps "Sheriff" is a bit strong. We've asked a few more folks to help us moderate as we are getting more posts than we used to (a good thing!) and new perspective is always helpful. There is a long list of folks I thought of asking, some I may in the future, some I didn't want to burden with...

I don't know the water you are boating there, so perhaps this is not a good suggestion, but given the feedback on the boat a Sith (or two) could be the only non-creek specific C1's you'd need to spruce up the fleet. Hopefully one day someone will make a user-friendly C1 creek boat (I don't own a fin...

As I know folks will ask...FullGnarlzOC

As Tommy request in his post (by mentioning it, and using language that has caused others to get a "time out" in the past) his account has been inactivated. He has not been banned at this time, and as far as I am concerned this is at his request (the word censor caught the language). He is not the f...

Or, all who own the Sith are under 200 lbs (everyone I know that has one is). I would e-mail the Shaggy folks from their website and see what they have to say - good honest folks. Assuming someone in your weight range (or heavier) has hopped in they may be able to put you in touch with them. Good lu...

Hemlock Canoes / Dave Curtis

Does anyone know what is up with Hemlock Canoes? The site is gone, and I can only find old info on them. I've added some info to the site of past boats they built, designed by Harold Deal, and was hoping to find a few images (SRT, Crossfire, Dragonfly).

A few notes for you Tom: 1) I think you are talking about the automatic word filters - when you type something, and something else immediately appears, that's what has happened. And yes, they don't note that they are editing, as it is a forum system and not a moderator. 2) Yup, we've been a little l...

Censorship, Rules, and the Forum

Recently a few folks have claimed we censor posts, specifically in relation to the word filters. Word filters have been added to keep the forum rated "G" or "PG" where possible. Censorship involves removing content - and for the most part folks should get your drift, and hopefully have a chuckle. Cr...

I've stayed out of this thread on purpose - but feel it's time to chime in. This site is about information and content on whitewater canoeing, not chat. If y'all want to bust on Louie (or anyone else), please do it elsewhere. Part for your sake, part for Louie's (he'll be on "probation" assuming he ...
