Hi Lennart,
and if you go to the alps make sure to drop a line and hopefully we'll find some time paddling together!
stay safe

Re: Marathon Canoe Jensen V1-pro
@Kaz
Haven't bought one yet but wonder if it would be the fastest possibility for us with our weight range. I guess a Pro should be faster than a mixer even if trimmed with some weight...
Am I wrong?

Marathon Canoe Jensen V1-pro
Hi,
has anyone an idea or knows anyone that has a clue if a team of 180 lbs stern and 115lbs bow is able to trim s V1 pro properly without using any additional weight? Maybe I'm wrong here but is there another forum where marathon folks are involved and maybe can tell?
Cheers

Re: Hand bilge pump?
I use the Gaia pump but as I see the others it seems the difference is the color?! Hold it with two strapf on the thwart, worked well all through the Grand Canyon despite the water that was loaded with sediment. Pump is still working...

Re: paddle shaft protective tube replacement
Which Paddle, which gunnels?
As long as it's Carbon or Glass on wood or vinyl you don't need to worry about the wear. Usually blades wear faster than paddle shafts...
If it's aluminum things change.

Yep, no Problem in the Octane with that Outfitting. Sometimes a small hit on Life west or helmet but that's normal is it gets busy...

Re: OC2 Saddle placement
We are 83cm apart in the Blast. 5 cm less are still ok. Center bag is possible but needs kind of a bra to be held in place http://www.bushpaddler.de/images/2008_04_Bunkerschwall.jpg Center bag is not necessary anymore since we outfitted our boat like this: http://www.cboats.net/cforum3/viewtopic.php...
