The 2 flies are two completely different boats, the SuperFly was desdigned by Frankie and made in the USofA by Savage V. The SpanishFly, named specially for the Rodeo Worlds in Spain, imaginative or what, was designed later and moulded in England. The hulls are very different and the ends too, the m...

but you'll always have some water in the boat of course there will always be a little water in the boat, it is an OPEN canoe and we like paddling them through rapids. I like to paddle dry but the reality is it is very tricky and a bit tedious in a small canoe like a S'Fly or a Taureau, full speed t...

It looks like it would work great, as long as the boat handles well with that level of water in it. I don't understand what you mean by that, with the holes in the boat there is LESS water in it than without them. Of course it handles better because you don't have to drive a bathtub full of water t...

Hey Phil, Cool beans I hope you have as much fun as I am having with the holes. I have written a bit more about them here http://blog.jamesweir.net/2010/06/still-nevafull-race-course-plenty-of.html And to answer the question about whether it is a canoe or not... I don't give a dam, it is a whole loa...

@Randy Sorry, sometimes I am not as clear as I mean to be... I mean sit in the canoe when it hab no water in, empty and then mark the water line on the outside, it is easiest if a friend does this so you can keep the canoe flat. I found that if i tried t lean over to look at and mark the water line ...

@Phil, yes water does come in through the holes, but I comes in the big hole in the top too, the difference is that the water comes back out of the holes in the sides. I have foam glued in the hull and with my legs in there as well there is very little space for water, i guess I carry not more than ...

@KimmieOC1 If you want photos check my blog Taking a dry line is the aim of the game BUT it is but is not always possible, looking at your profile pic I don't see how that is going to be dry. In some long tricky rapids it is not possible to empty your boat and end up paddling a bathtub full of water...

Much closer then Wausau Craig, from Nueburgring to Imst is 600KM or so, if you've got a half decent motor worthy of bringing to the Nuremburg its only 3hours away with boats on the roof!
When I go to Imst via the Nuerburgring I always take this car
See you at the Cboats Armada,
James
