Tomahawk C2 and Wildwater C1 for sale

I've decided it is time to move on a few boats that are not part of the core CBoats collection (race boats I don't seem to paddle any more). -Upstream Edge Tomahawk C2 - nice and light, I"m pretty sure Kevlar in the hull and it definitely has a foam core deck. Center cockpits, but originally set up ...

Re: C1 and C2 for sale - Update

After 3 years hard to say.

I'm about to post up a Upstream Edge Tomahawk C2 for sale (nice layup, foam core deck, good shape) for $800. PM if interested, otherwise I'll post it up here eventually. Located in upstate NY.

Re: FS: Perception Slasher (Red) Central NY $350?

I have a Slasher... and about 40 other C1s. My wife would say your disease is preferable to mine;)

Re: FS: Perception Slasher (Red) Central NY $350?

Wanting a Slasher is indeed insane! I haven't seen one pop up for sale in a while, but they are out there and I suspect if you keep asking you'll find one (most folks have given up trying to sell them;) ).

Re: River Elf Storm Giant

Thank you for the full report! I'll add a few comments, though your review is much more complete than mine will be at this point (and the two of you have far more time in C2's!) I've had my Storm Giant out once now (North Branch of the Potomac) and it performed well. Stable, and amazingly comfortabl...

Re: Spring 2019 Armada

A nice fun run on Saturday - they had plenty of water so it was a 1500 CFS release which was a lot of fun. Not too many folks on the river that day (admittedly it IS April, but I don't think there were a dozen cars in the put in parking lot).

Camping at Paddler's Lane in Confluence was great too.

Re: Spring 2019 Armada

Funny you mention that - that is my favorite / most memorable armada as well, especially the lower section where the tree branches are low. "floating" among the trees and mist was magical.

That said, for hauling my daughter down there 60's and sunny sounds good;)

Re: Homemade Bulkhead saddle?

Under "Site-Outfitting" below the CBoats.net logo there is a tremendous amount of information (on other topics too!). Here is the current link that should work: https://www.cboats.net/outfitting/ Searching will likely turn up LOTS of hits as well (it has been a common topic over the past 20+ years;)...

Re: Spring 2019 Armada

Right now here is the plan - if you want to join in please do! Saturday, April 27th meet up at the North Branch of the Potomac take out (or perhaps the brick building nearby we have in the past?) at 10 am to figure out shuttle and such. In theory I'll be paddling the Storm Giant. Saturday night - ri...

River Elf Storm Giant

A few years ago after getting my Storm Chaser I commented to Chris that they should lengthen it and make a recreational C2 as it had great potential to be an awesome boat, and there really aren't many recreational C2's out there (Hydra Duet and Canoah Americana are the only two that come to mind in ...

Re: Spring 2019 Armada

2019 schedule has been posted... looks like a release the 27th and 28th of April (weekend after Easter). At this point I'm planning on making it down, and am trying to figure out where to camp (Robert Craig @ Jennings Randolph lake opens the following weekend of course...). Mountain Meadows at Deep ...

Re: Spring 2019 Armada

I figured you would be;)

Right now I'm hoping there will be a release the weekend of the April 20/21, as that is our only free weekend from the 13/14th of April through mid July. Thankfully the first weekend in May is the WW Derby so I'll be getting some paddling in;)

Spring 2019 Armada

It's been quite a few years since we did a spring get together, and I'm already thinking of heading south in late April for some paddling (for better or worse the 3rd weekend in May commitment that has kept me north for 7 years now is likely to continue for 3 more years). We don't know the schedule ...
