I am a lefty who paddles right. Started left but it didn't feel as smooth.

I thought I was just confused--but it sounds like many paddlers do the same.

As far as my roll, so far I only have the 1st 180 degrees down.

Edges, Chines, and swims

Can someone explain in layman's language why more skill is needed for paddling harder chined boats? [Viper, Ocoee]

Especially how does hard edge/soft edge affect eddy turns and peel outs?
