The point of climbing is to get to the top without falling.

The point of canoeing ww is to find the dry line.

Using pumps is "rather missing the point"

Nobody is scoring first descents because they use pumps. Those guys don't need pumps. Pumps are only useful for old men. Anyone else is just lazy. Learn to run clean lines. Learn to boof. Progress.

Since when do we discuss climbing here? Nick, do you climb with a parachute? Or boat with a skirt?

I used to have one of those! Sweet ride! Mine had the center seat that doubled as a cooler, and it got lots of use. Doesn't turn well but mine ferried like a beast with that oil canned bottom and keel.
