Hah! I googled "Bell canoe outraged" and found the post from that guy putting it up for sale.
I think the hip-pads are popular for OC slalom (I paddled a lady's Millbrook that had them). It sounds like a super-sweet boat, but I would be nervous about using for non-slalom paddling. /:|

Bell Outraged
Bell does an excellent job of laying up the boat and will give you several layups. I have a racing layup with carbon fiber and kevlar interwoven. I have it from pretty good authority that Bell has the old Dagger mold and will be producing the Ocoee. Alot of folks have sounded interested in getting a new Ocoee, so it might be worth an e-mail to Bell to see if it is so. They also make a composite version of the Outrage called the Outraged.
