I would love to buy the C-2 but at the moment I would need a co-owner as I am spread too thin, or overburdenned with boats that rarely see the water as it is. Just far contemplation, is it possible for a person 6'3" who needs a 7" saddle to fit in one?

Fit

I went to the local outfitter and tried on some Kokotat suits. I came away a little worried that I won't find the right fit. I tried a large and an Xtralarge both are fine sitting still but when I knelt on the floor and tried some practice strokes I found I would feel a tug of resistance across the ...

Thanks,
I will focus my search on the goretex. It looks like I'm in the market too late for this spring, new suits are beyond my budget.

WTB: Dry suit

I am 6' 3" 170 lb. I would like a Goretex suit. A few questions: 1) If my normal paddle day is about 5 Hrs in 50 d weather is goretex necessary? Once the water temp is above 50 d my wetsuit is sufficient. 2) Is there any materiel that is not reccommended. 3) Are their any Manufacturers that are make...

I like the updates, especially the Viper section. It would be nice to get more action shots for the other boats especially squirt boating shots.

They haven't come back from that trip yet. Think about it. Even if all you had to do was pop the skirt and you had no thigh straps what so ever. If you have to slide back to clear the deck you are not going to be able to get out. You cannot slide if you are pinned to the back deck.

I just checked my calendar and saw that May 12th and 13th are a Monday and Tuesday. It woudl be difficult for me to attend on those dates this year. Either the weekend of the 10th and 11th or the 17th and 18th would be workable for me.

The Weldwood stuff in the Red Can may work. I used the recommended stuff to patch my skirt, but the Weldwood has held the paddling I lined my C-1 pretty firmly.

I will come. I have a standing date to come to the MD panhandle and paddle anything in a 50 mile radius. The Dry Fork of the Cheat is one of my favorite runs. The Casselman, is another, but this year I may be interested in doing the Upper N. Branch above Lost Land. Its intense but its drop and pool,...
