Silverbirch Rebel 11 in production

What happens when you modernize the Ocoee / Viper 11 and add that Silverbirch feel.... you get the Rebel 11. The gameplan has been to bring these boats in Feb '18, but I'd be lying if I said that I'm not tempted to get them stateside much sooner... If interested send me a email tom@gnarlzoutdoors.co...

Tandem communication

From my experience - communication in a tandem is among the most important aspects of what you do. Direct, clear and concise. It doesn't matter how good each of you are if you aren't effectively working as a team to accomplish the same goal. Marie and I recently made a tandem video trying to highlig...

Friend around here had one, he was back at it on schedule running Class IV. As with all surgeries its generally how well you rehab and how well your body takes it.

Re: Ledge or octane

I'm 185, 5'8". I would like a boat for specifically the Arkansas and one that I could paddle for a few hours, but also that I could camp with (add 50lbs of gear). I really liked the Octane91 - but it did feel like a barge - but maybe that's the best part assuming I can get it moving with better pad...

Re: Ledge or octane

Stephenson - Several long time OC ww trippers have switched to a Covert 10.5, as it has the speed/glide for flatwater, same hull design as a 9.3 except longer and wider.... so you have a super smooth boat that is stable with the ability to load it down with gear for multi-days. Not exactly a whole l...

Re: Ledge or octane

The L'edges don't crack like they use to - the new LL L'edges are holding up well from what I can pick up on. If you are looking for total primary stability - the Octane 85 is going to be better. But quite frankly it's not about the Primary as much as it is the overall stability. Just because a boat...

Re: More Canoes hitting North America

To answer your question - We are pretty much at the same spot, except there are more Silverbirch boats out West now, as more have been purchased. As we sit right now - we are focusing on getting our Southeastern and Northeastern US demo fleets up to par with all models. We are getting close. Still i...

Jerrod Jones and Holly Reppert just got it done this past weekend in a Silverbirch Covert 10.5 tandem. Those two make a very impressive tandem team

Re: Silverbirch Canoes

AL - No 'demos' out in CO yet, as we don't have a rep out west, but I know there are a few Coverts floating around out there. Working on that as time progresses.

Silverbirch Canoes

Wellp... Its almost unanimous. With over 60+ Silverbirch boats hitting the states since last March - the consensus is they paddle even better than they look. This is a public service announcement - to let Cboaters know! Not all of you are on the facebook world, or run into us river side so I wanted ...
