Ceemweaver and Riot Groove for sale
These two boats do not get the water time they deserve any more and I am thinking of selling them to a loving home :-)! Plus I need to make some space for a raft (can't fit the little one in a squirt boat ;-) )Both are, as most of you know, rare, the Ceemweaver is the one and only and the Riot Groov...

Re: Where and who?
Keez got it right. It is Vincent Dupont It is the Coaticook Gorge in the Eastern Townships in Quebec. Features in the infamous canadian paddling video H2 HO. The video of the descent is still on youtube. Vince runs it first in a C1 and then at the end of the video in a WOOZ. TGG! https://www.youtube...

Re: AB edge breakdown?
Forgot to mention, keep it in a dry bag if you can, and tape off the joints with one wrap duct take to keep silt and sand out once you use it.

Re: AB edge breakdown?
Werner makes also a 3-piece breakdown now. The Aquabound breakdown is a great paddle, I used one extensively while paddling in Mexico last winter. The only problem I have encountered with them is the fact that sometimes the blade does not want to fit together with the shaft easily. The problem is th...

Re: Ankle Blocks - Knee Pain - Fix?
Knee pain can be due to many things, look, next to ankleblocks and saddle height also at knee spead, lower leg angle, how close or how spread your feet are, knee twist and such things. I for one am in quite a bit of pain really quickly if my feet are up and I have to push against foot pegs, but can,...

Re: Kokatat custom fitting?
I have a 36inch iseam, but my overall height is only 6'1". Height would dictate an L, but inseam dictates an xl or evelXXL. Custowould be nice, but as guide I can get them on Pro -deal, provided itès an off the shelf size. I do therefore order them Big, suck the air out and wear board shorts over to...

Re: Blackfly Canoe demos out west - where should we go?
The problem when crossing the border with 15 boats, particularly if you are on your onw, is that customs will thing that you will want to sell them. You will be questioned very hard and may be refused entry if you answer the wrong way. You may have to pay some sort of security to ensure that you eit...

Re: Blackfly Canoe demos out west - where should we go?
If you do cross the border check your paper work requirements No kidding! I've crossed the Canadian border a dozen or so times in the last three years with a variety of boats, hopefully having 15 on the truck won't throw up too many red flags. Just to clarify, the only dates I have in my calendar a...

Re: Stern "squirting" in a Cascade C1?
I have had a Cascade now for about 2 1/2 years and I have paddled it quite extensively. I weigh about 185 lbs and my saddle is in the factory location as far as I can tell. Height is approximately 6 inches. I paddle it on both steep creeks as well as in big water. The stern has so far never given me...

Re: C1 Karma question
The large simply seemed too big. I am even slightly under the weight range for the large, and Jacksons aways seem to be big volume for their size. In the Karma M I seem to be right in the sweet spot fot the weight range, and I don't do enough expedition paddling to justify going for the big instead....

Re: Fluid solo large comparison
I have not paddled the Finkenmeister since late 2013/early 2014, as it is still in the Esprit boat house in Costa Rica, so my memory is a bit foggy, but I'll try to make a comparison between it and the Karma M anyway. My weight bounces between about 175 and 190 lbs. Currently closer to 175. -Speed: ...

Re: C1 Karma question
Length (at least in high volume creekboats) affects stability much less than width, hull shape and to a somewhat lesser extent volume. The Large Karma has significantly more volume and is significantly wider than the Karma UL, while still being 9 ft long. I find my Karma M ( my weight is about 175 l...
