Adam,
I am a maybe. I have been nursing a sore knee and every weekend it gets a bit better. I would be interested in knowing if someone would be interested in paddling tandem OC down the gorge. I paddle left.

I haven't done that stretch of the Potomac. If I come down will someone show me the way? I've been to the feeder canal and a local pointed out the route from there.

For other activiities there are some nice nite spots / restaurants right there in the middle of town. O ther than that there is Lake Michigan 30 miles away. Indiana Dunes State Park is worth a visit. Do you like to watch corn grow?

I lived in Mich City for 15 years.

So, Mike W., you are having a Maven, Acrobat & Oxygen made for you? Now that sounds like a fun decision.

I to arrived home safe and sound. 21 C-1's on Saturday was quite impressive and just as many OC-1's and 2's. I really enjoyed watching Jay stir the soup at the play hole. Hope someone got that promo for Drakkar on tape.

I would like to take a look. I have paddled the Para(Argue)max down South and I like the way it handles. I have a Patriot C2 now with rear offset right which is a compromise for me since I paddle left. It is also higher volume.

What times are good to call?

The Narrows is one of my favorites. The pool below calamity should provide some interesting water.

Also, I may want to pair up at the camp site with someone, my usuall host and paddle partner is away that weekend.

Mike,
you camped throught the meanest moskitoes on the savage every May. You just need to plan your day, 12 hours in the boat, an hour for breakfast and the same for dinner and then in the bag till morn to do it again. Them flies won't have a chance.

Hey congrats. Bring em to the armada, we can set a playpen up on a shredder. And guide it down the NB with our flotilla of Vipers.

Adam,
It looks like a good excuse to come up for the spring Hudson river race. Can't wait to see it in person. I wonder what a tandem version would be like?
