Re: Dropzone available in US

I have paddled it 3 times on the Nanty in the demo so my 2 cents is from this limited paddling. The Dropzone OC1 has some of the great aspects of the Option and Octane 91/85 combined. It is really wide, bulbous, yet has nice edges that allow this boat to ferry, carve, and boof like an Octane 85, but...

I paddled the demo and really enjoyed it so much that, of course, I ordered one. Red and Rich Moore have paddled it on class 2-5....

Re: Ledge or octane

At ALF last year they brought several Echoees and he had folks bash rocks on the Tellico, paddling them like plastic boats. They were holding up really well for that event.

Re: Correct Trim for Octane 91

I prefer mine slightly stern heavy for stern squirts, rock smears, books when creekinq. I cut it back 1 1/2 inches. When I lean forward aggressively I'm in neutral position.

This is great news Craig. I had been told that Blackfly uses the same plastic as Liquid Logic, so with their expertise this is great news.

Re: New Boat Feedback

I would love to hear feedback on the Covert. Yesterday I heard one stroke gets it up to speed, not as stable as a L'Edge. Boots great. I paddled the Dropzone on the Nanty where the prototype is available at ERA. The boat is incredibly dry, fast for it's length, ferried well, smooth transition from e...
