Evergreen Specs for the Sunburst

... entering the picture for WW boats? I also notice that the side view of this boat on the Evergreen site is very similar to the Mad River Guide, now Freedom Solo: http://madrivercanoe.com/freedom-solo The Guide/Freedom has 2.5 inches of rocker.

Yeah, most of the rivers run out of Taliban-country these days. So if you don't get picked off by some freedom fighter in the caves, you'll get a stray bomb dropped on you by Nato, or step on a land mine.

Kayakistan (northwest) is a better option :-)

Elbow Guards

Hello Creekers,
I need a good pair of elbow guards that 1) give me solid protection, 2) won't affect my freedom of movement and 3) will not shift around during a run (they stay in place :x ).

... say I am hard on my ocoee I don't bash down creaks but I get 3 or 4 scratches through to the white stuff on most trips. The vinyl is very soft. My freedom solo has been used 4 times as many times on the same rivers and it looks in better shape. I don't think my next boat will be rayalex. Sandie
