Evergreen Sequel - 500$ (Ontario)

Thinking about selling my old boat because I am a broke-ass student and it doesn't make sense for me to have multiple boats. All outfitting is in fantastic shape. The hull has no soft spots other than a small dent in the front that I have filled with epoxy and fiberglassed from the inside. This hull...

Re: Lap Belt

Unless you are constantly playing in holes and if you push on the pegs (not toes under the pegs)... you really should not ever need a lap (suicide) belt in an OC1. If you are trying to roll with your toes pushed under the footpegs and expecting to hang in there while upside down... well... good luc...

Lap Belt

I picked up a L'edge a couple months ago and love the boat. I've been working away at getting the outfitting right over the last couple weeks (I'm still getting used to a bulkhead). It is pretty snug, but I have been ripped right out of my boat twice now flipping in holes. I have a pretty good roll ...

Re: Paddle Grip

For gloves and bare hands.

Just looking something to leave on the shaft so its not all slippery. I had some climbing tape on it but the water made the sticky come through and would gum up my hands which I didn't like. I tried hockey tape and the same happened.

Paddle Grip

Does anyone have any suggestions to add some grip to a paddle shaft? I tried some climbing tape but all the sticky eventually started coming through.

Re: Fixing up my old boat

Forget the black paint, it might get very hot in summer sun and deform easily. And every scratch will be visible. And since when do students waste money on unnecesary paint? :D Haha yea I was thinking that too. The reasoning is that the previous owner put a bunch of it where the vinyl was showing t...

Fixing up my old boat

For a fun project to work on after work for a week or two I want to fix up my old sequel. Here's what I want to do to it: - Pop off the old gunwales and replace em with wooden ones - Fill in any dents with plastic weld epoxy and sand it smooth - Paint the entire hull with black ABS paint Being a stu...
