Re: Drakkar Wheelboy

90kg would be about 200lbs. I was about 185 when last paddling my WBoy and felt I was about at its upper limit as a park/playboat. As a river runner I thought I was getting too heavy. As an all round playboat/ river runner, I think 175 to be about the limit. I never truly fell in love with the boat....

WTB - Robson Airbag(s) for a CU-Fly

I know it's a long shot.
Anyone have one (or two) or know where or how to get a set in Canada or USA?

Re: CU-Fly Airbags

Somebody made some money this winter. ^^^ The Robson bags have a non-traditional shape and would surely be the best fit. However, I found them to be of questionable quality. Still if anyone has one (or a set) to part with, shoot me a pm. Or if you know of a NA dealer/distributor. I'll hope to come a...

New Years Costa Rica w/ Esprit

I'm joining Esprit to paddle Dec31-Jan7 in Costa Rica. They're a great company, we had a blast in Mexico. It looks that I'll be seriously outnumbered by kayakers, I could use some back up. I'll paddle the week, then follow it with a week of trekking around (or possibly more paddling). Anyone else up...

Pierre - Guess you have to come surf Trail or Brilliant in the New Year

Jeremy and all others, one of these days I'll get to writing a proper review.
Abreviated review - Luv it!

I think Yukon should buy his boy an Ion. I could give it a spring "break in", then deliver on my way home in June.

Hi Moose, My concern with lowering the saddle is that I'll find myself too deep in the boat and it would be detrimental to rolling. Do you ever "catch" yourself on the gunnels? I think I'll take an 1 1/2 inch off. I've laminated one inch foam to each side of the saddle, cutting it down a hair will l...

Outfitting "OPTIONS"

Looking for advice from other OPTION owners. I currently have the saddle out of mine for some mods. Now would be a good time to lower the saddle if I'm going to. Has anyone lowered? I'm thinking an inch? Will it really make any noticeable difference? Comfort wise it won't bother me, but being deeper...

Yukon

I'm pretty sure J's C1 is a Centrifuge. Did you see it the night I used it at the pool? .....................well neither did I. :D
I think all 3 would be Pelly boats.
Forget this C1 silliness, just order a Blackfly.

We cancelled Skagway, I'll call you later.

I've previously been anti - painters. I've relied on towbelts and cowtails when neccessary and appropriate. A situation occured last season that I'd never considered. I needed to quickly leave my boat to rush upstream for a rescue. I found myself in a tiny eddy under a 5 foot bank topped with a wall...
