Re: Drakkar C1 s

I also have a lightly used red Wheelboy I would consider trading for a good condition Spanishfly or Force OC1

Drakkar C1 s

I was googling Drakkar and came about a site selling off the molds of their longer kayaks. Rotomart.com

Someone should check this out and build that creeker they once promised. I'd take one.

Re: Love the Bubble Street comic

Paddle naked for all I care if your solo. If you're part of a group it is selfish and irresponsible to be attired in a state that leaves you useless in a crisis.

Wanted - Wavesport Kayak Outfitting

Hi,

I'm looking for a rightside thigh hook (part #9900-0017) from either a Foreplay, XXX, or Siren.
Anyone have anything in their junk bin?

She's not buying my advice on just converting it C-1.

Thanks,

miket

Re: A twelve-step program -- then RECOVERY !!

What's the creek that flows down the east side of Kootney Pass,it looks pretty awesome.Have you run it,I think the boys from Hellman have... Summit Creek I think I remember an old C1er (wildhorse dan) talking about it, but it's definitely not commonly run. From the road there are some enticing view...

Re: BC Kootenay paddlers?

Paul, I do remember that fun, but chilly day. You're on my "if I ever get to Alberta" list. I have a Nelson place, where I've been most the winter, hoping I can stick around til June. I'll be in Fernie start of May. Bull?, Elk? and could be interested in the Highwood. I hope to make Pincherfest agai...

Re: BC Kootenay paddlers?

Thanks Pat, I've paddled with Eric and Joel, but haven't seen them around in years. I think Joel's been off world travel'n and educating. I'll track down Roger and Allyson (sold her a Wheelboy) if I get that way. Sounds like there is more of a ww canoe community on the east side. There is the Columb...

BC Kootenay paddlers?

I'm around Nelson for the spring, again. Are there any other singlebladers in the west kootenay or even east kootenay? There's a great kayak community (I paddle with regularily), but I can't figure out why no canoes. Some fantastic canoe runs and play features around here. A nice progression of chal...

Re: Ladies drysuit advice

She's a tough ex river tripping guide / bushgirl and worth every penny I may have to invest. I'm just questioning if all the extra semi rigid material and leak potential justifies the convenience as I've never worn a dropseat myself. Any affect on range of motion or conflict with saddles and outfitt...

Ladies drysuit advice

I'm looking to pick up a drysuit for a lady friend new to the sport. As I'm currently a great distance from all my female paddling friends, I ask the women of cboats - Is a dropseat essential? I'm sure it's definitely a convenience, but is the big semi rigid arc of a zipper a hinderance otherwise or...

Prijon Delirious, Delirious XL

As a public service for other lovers of these classic conversions and some PR for a good guy. Kent at Kent's - Spokane has at least four more of these brand new , w/ all original paperwork and outfitting kits. Do your own dealing, but I will say that I paid significantly less than the $599 tag. Tota...

Re: Who makes an adjustable height pedestal?

Thinking it out now, on a raft we were trying to do leans with all are weight and might against a craft that had no desire at all to tilt.
Give it a try in canoe and report back. Let's see some innovation! The remote trigger concept is awesome.
