Gat Fest / Lucifers

Gat Fest rules...not to be missed. Tons of boats on the river, including many open boats. The party on Saturday night is good fun as well. Gat Fest has a great vibe all around. Lots of crazies in random watercraft there as well...not even sure how to describe some of the stuff people run that river ...

ronin pro

Ronin Pro has been great for me since I got it last spring. At the time I hadn't had any swiftwater rescue training, but left the belt on and just didn't use it - other than fastening it. Since then I have taken SRT traning and am glad I have a rescue vest. If you are concerned about having the resc...

...in Canada

I was out last weekend and know some people who paddled yesterday, but most people are already done for the year, I think. No doubt some people will paddle year-round as long as t...

Haven't met Eli or Dooley but have paddled with Mark and he's a great guy and a great teacher - expect him to push you hard though! As for Esprit, they're great. I've never been with them in Mexico but have taken WRT with them at their base on the Ottawa, and they hosted my local club's annual paddl...

ahh yes, I know these people. The two videos of tandem canoes (Exhibits A and B) were taken on Canada Day 2008. Damage report: -1 exploded flotation bag -2 gunnels ripped off the boat -1 drowned camera -3 canoeists converted to kayaking Its a tough line to judge....you're either on it or you're not,...
