... by Davey Hearn at the same time, seem to be more forgiving for larger paddlers than many other designs. However, if could afford it, I would buy a Loco. I was only able to paddle one very briefly but liked the way that it handled and it is certainly the only short boat that comes close to being ...

... with iTOMCO to be sure, but, if so, you might also consider one of Robin Bell's designs for larger C-1 paddlers: The "iMo" or possibly a used "Loco" (his previous design). Both are "short" boats (under 4 meters) built by Galasport. John

Have you ordered a new Galasport boat recently?

... costs, and hassles. I have not yet talked with GalasportUSA, they are out of the country for the Olympics, but will contact them in September. The Loco sounds like the ideal boat for me, that's why the interest in Galasport. So, if you wouldn't mind disclosing some info it would be greatly appreciated. ...

Thanks for the info. I'm 6' and 170 so it sounds like the Loco is a pretty good choice, but I will also investigate the other boats mentioned. I like the idea of the Itomco boat made in Canada because of the possiblity of reduced shipping costs and it ...

The Loco would be a good boat for your weight, what is your height? It was designed by Robin Bell and I believe it is the boat that he just got the bronze in at the games. He is a tall guy (maybe 6'2") and I bet weighs in around ...
