Can I test drive a Loco

I am thinking about buying a Galasport Loco, and was hoping to paddle one a little bit before I sign on the dotted line. I checked with Galasport and they don't have one to test right now. I am currently in Boston, but will be up and down the ...

HMPH!

Well then, my offer is OFF the table!

:(

I really had a lot of fun paddling that Loco on the NB Potomac.

Sorry, Overthehill. Maybe "Sir" Adam has the deal for you. His F2 layup sound the same as mine.

Good luck,

KNeal

... 2 that I bought off of Scott B. I like the boat a lot, but am not opposed to selling it. But, if I do that, then I just HAVE to have a Galasport Loco. Preferably one that is off-white and a red/white/blue racing stripe down the length of one side of the deck. :D If I can hear from this "Great" ...

WTB: Used LOCO slalom C-1

I'm sure that somebody out there is looking to move on to a newer boat and wants to unload their LOCO.

I promise to give it a good home.

Give me a holler at jcoraor@town.huntington.ny.us or PM me.

Thanks!

the LOCO...has almost too much hull speed, and doesn't turn well enough for the courses we set now. I realized on my last few races as I had to spin, and cost me 3-4 seconds over most other people... Sounds like you need a ...

Isaac, the Loco holds up really well. I had to put on the odd small patch, due to my clumsiness, but the boat is a LOT stronger than what one might think. I have had id on runs that are definitely not slalom boat friendly, and ...

... never wrote that a slalom boat didn't work well as a whitewater riverrunner. They actually do! I don't know what boat you paddle, but my Galasport Loco is an absolute blast in big water class 4 rapids, very stable and predictable. It's for instructing where I find they are not ideal. TGG!

That was definitely another great armada weekend. The highlight for me was jumping in "Gonzo"'s slalom c-1, the Loco, for a run down the NBP. It was VERY responsive for me (in spite of having a hip differential from "Gonzo" ) and I had a blast carving eddy turns and surfing ...
