Saddle Distance

I paddled an H3 255 for quite a while. The front of my saddle seatback from the back of the cockpit rim was about 8 inches. I'm 6'4" and about 195lbs., so I would guess that you may be slightly forward of 8 inches, but that would ...

Check with Bernie out of Dayton Whitewater Warehouse...Maybe PM him. He had a H3-255 that he paddled on and off and liked and is a master outfitter.

Just a couple more H3:255 questions - Thanks

I have the H3:255 and it looks good. I like the depth and size. Currently, paddling a Skeeter and an Ocoee. Here are my questions. Do the rails on the bottom cause problems on shallow runs/creeks? Is my weight 180-190lb, 5'9" ok ...

I've got an H3 255 with a 7" saddle and it is a very good C1 conversion :D . $400 or 500 would be a fair price for a boat in very good condition. I wouldn't pay anything close to $800 :x .

what size h2 and what size are you?
the h2 is pretty low volume compared to an h3 or burn (61 gal vs 80 gal for the 255) and it's edgier to boot.

Problems with my H2 255. (sorry long post)

i have a converted H2 that i've been paddling the last few months. I've been getting a little frustrated with the rate of my progression in the boat. I started out paddling oc1 in an ovation then a zoom. And spent alot of time in a buddy's spanish fly before getting the H2. I'm not really experience...

Taureau or c-1

Aj,i'm 6ft,190lbs and have a h3 255 with a 7 inch saddle, very comfy. My opinion, the way to go.No foot pegs, not necessary, good secure thigh straps but you could add toe blocks easily. It's fast, reponsive, easier to roll and as stable as my old ...
