Hi Erick, Don't tell them mate, just do what you do. How many of those other boaters would solo sections of the Ubaye? How many of those other boaters take a genuine interest in improving their boating? How many of those other boaters would drive from the North coast of Scotland to the Southern Lake...

Erick,
Oh but yes....this was a dream. No l'Edge, no warm waters, no being good at this.
No dream mate, you have the 'mega clean' falls up there in Scotland!

This paddle looks very similar to a Galasport Magnum, the ridge on the back of the Magnum slices through the water better than you would think..

Hi Folks,

I got very very close to hand rolling my Zoom without any real practice. I think that I would be able to hand roll the Taureau with a couple of hours practice.

This has no reflection on other parts of my anatomy but for the record I have very small hands!

John,

Not sure what post you are referring to but the kayaker had the right of way. We boat together a lot and knew each others intentions.

Hi Folks, Just a quick one. The scull out and flipping the paddle over is only a set up, there is no pressure during this phase. I sometimes go under back deck, sometimes knife the blade to the surface. Also, the Zoom doesn't usually stall! In this instance there is no underwater scull, I just hang ...

Josh,

Your C stroke sounds like something that Becky Mason would do in a 16 foot canoe! I doubt it has a place in the world of white water boats, slowing hull speed and an in-active blade at the same time! No thanks..

Are you at the canoe symposium this weekend mate?

Take it easy,

Kelvin.

Shep, You are correct with the description of the C stroke, in a white water boat you would tend to favour a stern pry at the end over a J. It has it's uses in boats of all sizes but used at the wrong time is a very in-affective stroke. I use it sparingly my Taureau as it kills hull speed in an alre...

Josh,

Here you go mate:

You can leave the bulkhead unglued and use different size spacers between that and the secondary bulkhead. This boat now has hip pads.

Hope this helps,

Kelvin.
