WTB 2010 or Newer Jackson Superstar C-1 or Kayak

It may be a longshot but I'm looking for a converted Superstar w/ factory or other C-1 outfitting. Condition isn't real important(if you've seen the way I paddle you'll understand). Kayak or "bare" will work also. Cheers, HH

Re: Seat height and rolling --

I asked a similar question relating to a closed boat, see - Seat height? from Aug 27,2011. That input should help. I have found lower to be better as long as I'm comfortable. My onside knee still moves some, but not as bad. Haven't been able to stop it from moving completely. Hope this helps! Peace...

Re: For Sale Mad River Me-$350

Probably somewhere in between. No soft spots, def. dents and some gouges. Some wear along the keel/v and I did a decent glass patch in those areas. Hull is def. sound along with gunnels, but it is becoming a beater boat. It has been stored properly. I'm in Granby, Ct

For Sale Mad River Me-$350

Looking to sell a Red Mad River Me for $350. It has; airbags fore and aft, Kneeling thwarts, foam knee pads and "foot blocks/pegs". Good boat ready to paddle, maybe good for someone starting out in W/W or 2 smaller paddlers. Just doesn't get used anymore. Wood gunnels were replaced and are in good s...

Re: Drakkar Wheelboy F / S

Why do you live so far away from me, you got to get your priorities straight. Great boat, another time and another place and it would be sold, unless it already has. Peace... "Every where is within walking/paddling distance if you have the time." Stephen Wright

Re: Dagger Legend Thwart/Gunwale?

All great tips, I'll work on the thwarts while listening to some music and enjoy an adult beverage while I am at it. Cheers!

Dagger Legend Thwart/Gunwale?

Guys, I have a Dagger Legend that I love, but right out of the box it has "creaked" when I carry it. It doesn't make noise when I paddle it unless I paddle very hard. It has vinyl gunwales and I have tightned/loosened fasteners to no avail. Please let me know if anyone has a solution for this proble...

Re: What paddle to buy

Sams, I've had good luck with Echo Creek Stick, Andy did some customization which helped greatly. I also love the Mitchell Paddle with the wood shaft and carbon blade/face. It truly is a great combo. Peace, HH
