Wow, this is almost too much to comprehend. This is a seriously important history lesson that Scott eludes to. CBoats.net was started by taking Scott's C-Forum data, migrating it to phpBB and giving it its' own domain name (wasn't it an Earthlink address originally?). All of this was done with Scott...

Let's see if we can crash their server by sending all our CBoats traffic to that link! hehe, I'm not sure I even wish we had the numbers to pull that off. :)

Nice news story and well produced, thanks for the link!

I've had a few PM's about this, but I'm still looking for some boats. Someone's gotta have an old metal Grumman canoe or plastic Old Town canoe lying around - take a closer look at your garden beds, you never know where you might have put one. :)

Favor to ask: Need to borrow some flat water boats (DC)

Your webmaster and photographer here asking for a small favor from anyone in/near the Washington, DC area. My company is having a picnic at the end of this month at an executive's house where there is a small pond. I was wondering if anyone nearby might have a flat water boat (traditional canoe, rec...

So what happened on Saturday!?! After I left you guys to get some bike time over at Big Bear (mountain bike course) I encountered zero visibility rains, 20-30mph winds, and more mud and washouts than I've seen in years. Turns out 80mph winds and a tornado hit just a few miles from where I was trudgi...

Welcome "back"! I'm sure Adam, ScottB, PAC, Kneal and Gonzo are on the road right now driving home from the Armada weekend, otherwise your return to C-ivilization would be well-heralded. In fact, I heard your name mentioned at the Armada (alas, I don't remember the context) so you're still in our he...

Happy Father's Day indeed! If the conversion goes well go ahead and submit it to the conversion database (click GO next to "Search Boats" up there in the header and you'll see an Add Conversion button on the left side of that page). That is certainly a nice surprise, congrats. :)

Nice! I could have sworn at one point there was a fade-out/in, and you said there were no special effects! Not that I'm taking joy from someone else's suffering, but I like how you saved all the "pain" for the last 40 seconds or so, beginning with when that guy went over the uber rock upsidedown. :)...

I do find myself travelling between upstate NY and DC through the NYC corridor quite often, and while I'm not sure when I'll be making the trip again there's at least a fair chance it will be around June or July if you can wait that long. I'll keep you in mind if it happens.
