Absolutely! Didn't mean to imply impatience. I'm just in the demo process and was trying to get a feel for a timeline. This is my first canoe purchase, so I'm enjoying the process and am psyched to have so many great choices.sbroam wrote:Small shop + big project = need for patience... .

Phiend?
Wondering if anyone knows when the Phiend might be available to demo. I'm fixing to buy a new boat, and that is one I definitely want to look at before I make a final decision.

Re: Ready to buy my own OC-1 and need advice
Thanks, I'm in northeast PA.
Yeah, sorry--I know you all must get this question about a thousand times a month. Maybe the "Just starting out" forum could have a pinned post up top that contains the standard answers to the "I'm new, what kind of boat do I want" question?
Thanks for any advice!

Ready to buy my own OC-1 and need advice
Hi, kayaker here who's been getting interested in OC-1. I have access to a triple-outfitted Blast, and I've been paddling it solo. I love the combination of stability and edges for control, and have been having a fun time in it. It's big and heavy, though, being really a tandem boat. I'm serious eno...

Newbie outfitting question: glue?

Is this ok to use on a royalex boat, or should I be using another type of adhesive? Thank you for your help! Why have I waited so ...

Thanks, Mark! I'd like to add that we would consider trading for a smaller or more beginner-friendly OC-1. The Vertige X belongs to our outing club, and lately I've had small-ish kids who are beginners, and we just haven't used it very much. I'm looking to replace it with something that would be mor...

Esquif Vertige X OC2 SOLD
Outfitted with tandem saddle and airbags. Asking $1000. Would also trade for one tandem or two single duckies.
