Personally I think the CR 250 or the L Flirt would be 2 good options for your size. The L Nemesis if available would be ... than both if its even avaialable (porbably won't find one used though). The L Spice would be more of a river runner but still surfs and spins. I paddle a CR 125 ...

1. Liquidlogic CR 125 2. Fluid Spice M 3. Fluid Flirt M After 2 bad days in my LL Session (Ocoee and Mongaup) I realized my boat is the limiting factor in my paddling. I need a river runner with a bit of play. I am 6 foot 215 lbs. Paddling ...

Where is the Fun? Read me ALF

... fun...I was told great stories of your arguing abilities (especially on controversial issues), along with many other stories. Keep it civil please! Thank you from one of the masses sitting back thinking "were do they get the ...

Re: hard moves on easy water

Another challenge to spice things up is to paddle a series of gates on only one side (no cross strokes); then try it only using cross strokes. Although there is a lot you can do on flatwater, if you can set gates on moving water, then ...

... actually paddle my X more than my Big Wheel because the X is far more versatile (for me anyway) and is more fun while actually river running. The Spice isn't a lot different than the X. I also have paddled the spice as a yak and thought it would be a fun C-1. Go for it! B

I paddled a k1 Spice and it felt good... I think it would be a good C1 for playboating and general messing around (blunts, cartwheels, maybe a loop) I personaly think you should choose either a pure riverunner/creeker or freestyle ...

just to spice things up.... ....snip..... If a Taureau is not run drier, getting water out is a pain. Of course with a pump it wouldn't matter. But IMHO (Watch out, here it comes)!!! that sorta takes the challenge out of paddling ...

just to spice things up.... It seemed to me that the Taureau actually rolled easier, like maybe the easiest canoe I've rolled. With that arched deck it seems to make it easy, which consequently makes me wonder about upside down ...

ASCI Friday Night Fun: IR Giant Slalom 6/20

... in use as well. The Giant Slalom Race will be held on the upper more difficult section of the course. So what is Giant Slalom? Its our attempt to spice up things and make slalom more accessible to more people. To that end, there are classes fop boats under 8' 6", plastic boats over that length, ...

... and then your buddies want to hit the Deerfield Dryway . . . hmm . . . I guess that's why guys start swimming down the river with surf boards to spice it up.
