SAAWEEET!!! is how Kanur worded it.
From the video it look like it will do snappy eddy turns..... possibly a tad slow compared to the Ocoee??
Thanks for the video! And for Esquif being cutting edge on the OC boater scene!

Hi Crunchy
I find it interesting that many of the guides actually started out guiding, not boating. This was painfully apparent to me when we were sitting in moonshoot on the Ocoee, and rafts were coming thru by the dozens.....one raft was facing forward, the other backward, and one was yelling instructions to...

I have a phone# for him, but last time he called it was on another type of phone. If anyone has his # can you PM me please??? Thanks Helen

This is a pretty funny thread
Yes, I was spotted on the Ocoee in a Mamba kayak by a fellow MO boater.....and I haven't heard the last of it! I actually started out in a butt boat....got too hard on my back... after my conversion to the good side, I hurt my knee swimming out of phantom in a hole. I couldn't stand not being on the...

Homes is an
awesome boat! flattish hull, and a little softer chines than the ocoee. It is shorter....I can't remember I think 10 ft. Problem is, we can't get them in the states. Also, there is the material issue......not sure how to fix it if it breaks. It is kind of like Esquifs twintex, but a little different.

favorite 10 or less
I didn't vote, cause none of these are my favorites Phantom---pretty unstable in bigger water...very edgy. I did like the speed. It is touted by some to be a smaller version of the ocoee. I beg to differ! I now have an ocoee...I love the edges a lot better, it is fast, fast, and surfs great! Stable ...

it's a long time to wait, but
you could have one of the canadians that come down to tenn/nc. bring it back to Ontario in the Spring (March). I know a guy who had to drive up to canada to pick up a boat due to the shipping problem, so I don't know of a better way to transfer boats. I'm actually surprised you found someone who wou...

trying to get an understanding of this boat....
So you say it is faster than a spanish fly....how does the speed compare to say an ocoee?? If slower, is it still faster than say a detonator??? Also, does the boat tend to spin or slide into eddies, or can it make snappy turns??? what other boat would you compare it to in terms of catching eddies &...
