Re: WTB: Drakker Wheelboy
Wheel Boy rocks for a play boat. It can run rivers too. at 190 it was good to go. Surfs well and I took its big brother down the LG with mega fun and SqueakyKnee has run the UG in one (WB) a number of times. Its a good buy and I will never sell mine.

Re: Your Favorite Road Trip Vehicle
Make sure what ever you get it can handle a good rack - with spread between bars. Tow package is good to have. If you get a 2" hitch you can buy a trailer on the cheap... http://www.harborfreight.com/1195-lb-Capacity-48-in-x-96-in-Heavy-Duty-Folding-Trailer-62648.html?ccdenc=eyJjb2RlIjoiOTkxOTEwNjYi...

Re: Your Favorite Road Trip Vehicle
Someone else's vehicle. That said... depends on the terrain. Mini vans, cargo versions, are usually a shoe in. Had one for years and travelled with wife (then girl friend), dogs, bikes, boats and ski gear. Trucks with caps work too. Had a few but have some issues with standing up in and ease of in /...

Re: Full cut Acrobat?
Having owned a full cut Viper and both a full cut and master cut Acrobat. A full cut Acrobat would be a good fun boat but so would, Adam said, a slalom boat. Either a newer design or go old school. I've paddle the new school designs and had a blast. But I've also had a great time in old school boats...

Re: Rolling a Blackfly
Paddle placement with them is key - try to get it out at 90 degrees and flat on surface and try to keep it there during roll. you'll get it.

Re: Blackfly Playboat Skirt?
Why not just put a 700gph pump in it. Heck of a lot safer and might only add a tad bit more weight. Took an original blackfly down cheat canyon with a small pump in it and it was a hoot. Running river and playing.

Re: Saddle height too high?
Most of my boat saddles are at 8" to 8.5". I like that for knee longevity. It gives me more torque in a play boat and I have gotten use to paddling and rolling at that height. I get it for a race boat (have a few at the lower dimension) but like the higher. Try different heights to see what you like...
