You're right Oops. What I saw from above looked gnarly as...but portageable. I'm not that good at finding things on the net, mindset really. But I find it even more difficult to navigate stuff that's american...I always end up in some ads rubbish. But then I'm a computing diddy. I think that my next...

Gunnison river info
Ok, I have a sneaky feeling that this river would be well outside my reach. I find it difficult to find info on it (only commercial rubbish on CO) and I had plenty opportunity to look at it from belay stances. I was climbing on the cruise wall a week and a bit past. It looked amazing, long and commi...

Agreed. The guy in the zoom is well elegant and efficient! But the other boys aren't bad either. Those rivers look good people. To think that I'm coming over to CO in 2 days and won't paddle!! 2 weeks of climbing. My next trip to the US is to meet you all Cboat people and do some paddling if I learn...

sports that you are strongly recommended not to do alone but you do on occasions (well I do): rockclimbing, winterclimbing, off-piste riding (tele, ski or boarding) and paddling. Or of course the occasional multi-day hike. I love to go it alone, I fully recognise the risks and I'm ok with them. All t...

(I must be going loopy...I thought I had posted this this am???) ... a bulkhead in their canoes? And no thigh straps. I saw Kelvin, without any in his zoom. I liked the hopping in and out easy. I also felt that it forced me somehow to be more accurate on my lines...Also found I could transfer weight...

... a bulkhead without straps in their OC?? And more importantly can you roll it in anger? I saw Kelvin without, and like the facility of hoping in and out of the boat but I seem totally incompetent at rolling my lude when it counts! I can't set up fast enough, then my bums slips out and I find myse...
