Aerobat...

If you, or anyone else, has an Aerobat in decent shape they want to part with I'm interested...it's one of the few squirt boats not in the "collection"! (that and a Meltdown...).

I can have one dropped off at your place Thursday afternoon. Just let me know where it is. It is a squirt boat of the Aerobat vintage. I used to get plenty of downtime with it at S-Turn(Bermuda Triangle) and MD chute. Long time ago. It is still in very good condition. It is green ...

... trip up to see John Schriner fixed that he cut it down, almost small enough, when I got the boat back John related that the boat was basically an aerobat now. I paddled that boat for the next year. It was during that time I met Peter Zurfleigh, he was paddling what looked like a surf board with ...

C1 Squirt boat history breakthrough!

... site yet, as I won't be back home until Monday or so, but I had a nice chat with Peter Zurflieh today, who is in fact the designer of the Edge, Aerobat, and Acrobat! Paul Schreiner and John Schreiner (PS Composites / New Wave) led me to him... So, what's new, other than that Davey and Jon didn't ...

Hey cool, you've got my old boat :) I think it's an aerobat. The deck is curved outwards a little more than an acrobat. It's a really nicely laid-up boat--carbon/kevlar, vaccuum-bagged and all, build around 1996. It would be be better if the deck was ...

... and now you toss Andy Bridge into the mix on me! Anyone out there care to enlighten all of us 8) ? Anyway, I almost wonder if what you have is an Aerobat...if it is, and you ever want to part with it, let me know...it's the only boat missing from the squirt boat series (Ok, I need a meltdown too...). ...

Question...

Is this a C or OC, and is it an Edge or a Slalom boat made by Upstream Edge? The only reason I ask is the C1 Edge is a squirt boat (based on a cut down slalom boat) and I know there are a few folks looking for Squirt C1s...(I'm only looking for an aerobat though 8) ).

WTB-squirt boats

Ok, ok, I'm only looking for 1 boat right now (an aerobat), BUT I've had several folks contact me looking for a squirt boat. So, if you've got that old cut down racer, or an Acrobat, Edge, etc..., you might be surprised at the response you get if ...

Acro

... I'm not sure if it's still for sale though, or how to reach Mel. An Edge would most likely be a bit too high volume, and I'm not sure about an Aerobat (if you unearth an Aerobat, let me know-I'm looking for one for the "Collection"!). FWIW both Angst and PS Composites have Acrobat molds.... ...

... to the Forum, my intention is to "collect" one each of every REC C1 made. So, if you know of anyone trying to get rid of a Wide Ride, Hornet, Aerobat, Edge, Meltdown, Sith, or Sage, let me know...right now $$ are kind of tight, but I like to know where they are for the future 8) .

All of them were designed off of slalom boat hulls. If anyone has any more info on these boats, let me know! They ...

... Boats pages Scott B mentioned, and look just in front of your right knee as you're in the boat (as he also mentioned). If the boat is an Edge or Aerobat (which New Wave may or may not have made) I'm interested in images if not the boat, in case you do decide to sell (thought I may be looking ...
