Re: Covert 9.3 in the NE
Nice! Perhaps we can get it to show up for the TRPC Slip Clinic for folks to try out (McConnells Mills SP - PA) on June 4-5. Usually there is a pretty good pod of OCers there and having some new tech might help folks figure out what new boat best fits their needs as skills evolve!

I think you need to get creative there too with some eyeliner on the ends! Lay up something in glass / Kevlar for more style points.

Re: Has anyone built a removable electric pump setup?
Yes. Went low tech / easiest. Just used a wire to secure the pump to the back of the saddle. Short flexible 1" hose up and over the back left gunnel (I'm a righty) and used Velcro to attach to lacing. Found later that a piece of very thin lacing rope tied to the lacing worked to hold the hose in pla...

Re: Tandem boating, but drier. . .
Martin I heard it was all the back seat drivers fault (or the crappy spray skirts that were provided)! I can bring it again this year if you two want a second go at it!

I believe there are a couple Duets in very good shape up for grabs in NJ. Where mine - passed to get some kids started and now looking for a new home. 1 Blue & 1 Red. As my daughter said yesterday... I miss the "pigs" (memories)! But then she gets to run "it" now in a Noah America which is even more...

LY Shuttle bus driver Jack needs some assistance
If you ever rode the shuttle at the Lower Yough, the driver was most likely Jack Prinkey. Jack has been driving our LY shuttles for over 30 years. A month ago, Jack was a victim of arson. While running the shuttle someone burned his car at the Brunner Run take out. He is now without a vehicle. Local...

Re: Go to boat?
Usually the one I'm not in!
That said... C1 - Sith hands down for everyday boating.... Like the Option (but don't yet have one) so I'm beating with a Prelude (darn good boat) for an OC1.
Like in life no one does it all -- but some do it better than others.

Storm Chasers - sort of like race boats on steroids. Only got to paddle a bit but like the weight and the design. Think Kelly-Rand has one in his quiver so I'll defer to him!
