Re: Boat needs a ride from Buffalo NY to Minnesota

we will be heading to Glacier NP end of July.. Ping the seller to see if head to WV / Ohiopyle anytime soon. Also is there a location near the interstate as to a drop / storage location out your way in case we roll through during an un-godly hour! :-)

That said - look for a creeker that is wider - Burn, etc. They will never be a slalom boat but they will be more comfortable. As for a green - pretty narrow and not real comfortable - at least the one I tri...

Went with green since the fit was better and I wanted a high end safety jacket. Not perfect (for me) but was the best choice for me!

I'll just add that BF was kind enough to handed off to me a Octane 85 and 91 to bring to the following: 5/19 - Stoney Creek Rendezvous (PA) - https://benscreekcanoeclub.com/rendezvous/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 6/2-3 - TRPC Slippery Rock Clinic (PA) - http://threeriverspaddlingc...

Re: question about abs slurry repair for royalex

I have done ABS slurry over GFlex on a boat and it has help up okay. Never tried to brush it into the glass as it sets up. Not sure what ABS will do to GFlex / glass chemically. Maybe email West Systems for that answer. I have add dye to the GFlex resin during the glassing process with good results ...

Agree with all above. Sold my Viper wish I still had. The RE was fun to test run and can see it being a good boat to have in the quiver too! :-)

Re: C1 to OC1 or not

Hummmm..... yep you are one taller fellow. That will be an issue. The key is to get the weight off the knees IMHO so the saddle build is the answer. A lot of larger folks are going towards Octane 91s forgiving and spacious. THe 20/20 from Kaz might work for you since you paddle water not rocks. That...
