Re: Keep these Open Canoes from going to the dump

I am potentially interested! I live in the East Bay and am heading north for a Rogue River trip this week. I could make a detour to pick them up on my way back on Monday, July 1. Are they still available?

Re: Lower Salmon trip

Thanks for the photo/video tour, Carol. I was on the Rogue this past weekend with some friends and we all decided to do this run (Snake + Lower Salmon) next year. I'm the only one who hasn't done it--I've always had other things on my plate when friends did the trip.

Love it! At the NOC nationals, we accidently managed to make a vaild tandem class of only Octane 92's. That was my only medal, so please don't call them deluded!!!

End of Sept Multiday trip (Rogue River or Hells Canyon)

I want to do one last trip before the weather goes south on us. I am planning on hitting either the Rogue (if I can get a cancellation permit) or Hells Canyon. The plan is to drive down the 20th, launch the 21st, and take out on the 24th. If people can't get away from work ...

Re: wenonah rogue vs OT appalachian

OT Appalachian here, and I love it. Never paddled a rogue. It's an excellent big tandem for the WW you're talking about. I've never felt it to be too slow on flatwater, but then the only flat water I have taken it on is the pools between the drops. ...
