Re: Paddling Magazine article

... like to find is an Aerobat, as it is interesting to see the progression ending in the Acrobat that so many of us like. Other boats include a Meltdown (UK boat, not sure I'll ever find one), a Shaggy Jedi, and at least one of the Noah "Atlantis" series. I try to "limit" myself to boats that ...

... for all the info. Can't believe I just heard about this site. Jennifer Hearn led me over here. I couldn't find the mentor in the boats section? Meltdown looks great. And like you, I'd love to get my hands on an Aerobat. Acrobat would be good as well. Excited if you update image quality. I would ...

Re: C-quirt Downriver

It was looking at the viper that set me thinking of this, the meltdown was great downriver but very slow...

I'm going to have to take it to the river festivals this summer and hit up some big splatwheels and grinds; then go home and spend the winter patching the hull again :D

This summer was so busy here at Esprit that I spent about 90% of my paddling days in a 14 ft SOTAR Elite ST.
And I loved it!
Other than that I got out in the Sith, Groove, Ceemweaver, Acrobat, Prelude, Outrage Spanish Fly, L'Edge and while in Germany in the Force, Meltdown, and CU-Fly.

TGG!

Clearly not me as I got carried away with myself), and fixed ...

This thread is a bit old, but TGG has given me some comments on the meltdown, and with his permission I'm posting them up (as he can do what I can't and give a comparison with other C-squirtboats). I love the Meltdown. It is maybe a tad too big for me (180 ...

Hi Gonzo,

as Fez already wrote, I can lend you a Meltdown which is located in Karlsruhe. It is approx. 150 km south of Frankfurt.

Hi Gonzo,

write a pm on the wildwasserboard to Harald, he owns a Meltdown wich he restored from scratch. I would think he will be happy to lend it to you. The boat is sitting in Karlsruhe in southern Germany.

Cheers Frank
