Bavarian made Robson Finkenmeister C1 is for sale with spray skirt. The boat is 9'2" long, 28" wide, 74 gallons, 42 lbs superlinear plastic. $250 dollars. Der Finkenmeister is an authentic C1 (not a conversion), is in excellent condition ...

You should post pictures, though. I think someone is going to want it.

Oh, Reno is a bit too far. And as luck would have it, I picked up a red Fink over in Massachusetts a few months ago. Thanks for the response, though.

I have a red Finkenmeister for sale. It is in great shape, has thigh straps installed. Not sure about price at this point. Let me know if you are interested and I'll take some pictures.

... not get enough orders, production may be cut short. Keep that in mind. The Fanatix seems to be a winner, but the last 2 plastic C1's (the Robson Finkenmeister and Drakkar Wheelboy) were not financially successful. The C1 community is small and difficult to please.

Thanks for the info on the Finkenmeister. I think we will have something that will work. Regarding tube placement, we have established some "standard" tube locations for each deck but we definitely can move the tunnels forward or back ...

Here's a gem. The Robson Finkenmeister. 68" diameter underneath the rim, cockpit interior: 19.5" wide, 20.5" front to back From some very early conversations on here, the Atom/Cascade size deck doesn't quite cut it and larger modern Galasport ...

Yeah, I know it's old, and I figured they were gone. I like poking around, was trying to find a Finkenmeister, and this came up when I searched for Robson.

I like talking with people about boats. I miss being on the river.

It's got a patch under the seat. Not sure why since Finks are linear PE and weld well.

So, long story short: I have the boat from the cboats.net database entry for Robson Finkenmeister.

I posted on an old Boat of the Week discussion, so I'll repeat it here.

Mike W has a point, the high back rest is definitely needed, but it was in my experience not enough. The back rest in the Finkenmeister is a good 7 to 8 inches above the saddle and I still fell out of the boat before adding thigh straps. A strapless system may work in mainly low volume ...
