I use a converted prijon chopper or boxer for 3 or 4 day self supported trips. Works fine for space and speed. Prijon uses strong plastic without foam pillars so good for gear storage.

Pyranha kayaks also uses strong plastic.

I'm interested to see about the fatboy....

I think the Rockit, Boxer, and/or Chopper by Prijon all make good C1 creek boats. Good plastic, no pillars, about 70 gallons, over 9 feet , displacement hulls.

I agree the boxer is a nice boat, I tried a friends conversion and it is too tight for me ( I'm 6'4 ) . The Cockpit rim jogs inward just where my thighs are. The chopper may not have that limitation since its cockpit rim is one piece. They also (Prijon) make the Rocket which is a little less volume, and I ...

Prijon Boxer/Chopper as creeker

I use a Prijon Boxer, now called the Chopper, as a creeker. It is a little narrow in the cockpit but otherwise a very suitable creeker. Long enough to be fast but short enough to be manuevable (sp?). Strong plastic with no pilars. Lots of room for overnight gear if you wish to go on longer creekin trips.
