... roof and relatively light loads but rapidly drops to 16-18MPG with multiple boats, cargo pods, too much weight overall. I also have an old Chevy Astro Van, 4.3L engine, roof racks, AWD. The best MPG it gets is 16-17 but fully loaded, boats on the roof, beds inside, camping gear, canopies, firewood ...

I need all the hardware and outfitting for a astro 58 so it can be converted back to a kayak. I have a bare shell, no bulk heads even. If you have a broken shell or happen to have the outfitting please PM me. Name a price.

... If you have a deal on one go for it, but I would go for another design if you're to buy new. Not sure how the outfit in their K1 creek is but their astro K1 kayak seat fitting is really not ideal to do a conversion, and their cockpit is really small and low, but I know the magnum cockpit is not that ...

As an update to whoever it might be of interest: a did get a used cheap astro 58 in my garage last WE and it is going right back to its owner soon.

I heard some other people have been seting this boat up as a C1 but for me it was a no go.

Riot Astro 58 C-1 with Werner C-1 paddle and Harmony skirt. Asking $400.

Boat has usual scrapes and is in good shape with no oil canning. Foam saddle is usable but could probably use some attention. Pictures here:

I have a used Riot Astro 58 outfitted as a C-1 for sale. It's a great freestyle boat.

The boat has a foam saddle, a foam bulkhead, and plastic hip pads. No hip pads are installed.

Can send pictures.

Looking for $350 and would rather not ship.

Battery, fuse and gubbins all sit in a Cliptop (£1.49) lunchbox.

It is not fixed in any boat and jumps in and out of the Astro and Zoom....the airbags keep it in place. Both boats empty plenty fast enough....

I have a spare battery and have never needed to use it in a days ...

So many boats and so little time....!!
