I recently bought a Z(which I'm going to use as a kayak) with the plastic foot peg system and the guy I bought it from lost one of the foot pegs.

I would be pretty happy with a complete footpeg/rail setup from the first generation X, Y or Z or just a single plastic foot peg from the second ...

While search for Minicel, I keep coming across Microcell.

I know Minicel is a brand name and I suspect Microcell is as well.

Has anybody used Microcell and is it like Minicel... as in, does not absorb water and is easy to shape?

What are some good places to get some foam?

My local "Army Surplus" store has come up with used minicell in the past. 4 1/2 feet by 5 1/2 feet by 3/4 inch. It did have some bits of other foam attached to it, but that stuff came off really easy. They said it was some sort of air conditioning filter, but they didn't really know for sure.

At 220+ pounds, the c-1 XXX was prone to window shading me in the pool. Pretty fun, but... for me, as a kayak, it's damned fun. Still blazing fast, surfs great and melts down with control. It's a great boat... I love it.

A 180 lber used to paddle one quite a bit, even running stuff like the Telico ...
