Hey, anyone know of if and when a grand canyon Self support Tandem canoe trip has been done? Just curious, I imagine someone has done it but wondering if there is a record of it?

Re: Comparing new OC-1 solos for 200+lbs

Hey Pat. Just couple thoughts on boats. Paddled some of them and observed others. Firstly Option and Agent. I would put these two in the same category. The Agent is about 8'8 and the Option is 8'7. With the Rocker profile being quite similar (Agent is a tad wider). I haven't jumped in the agent but ...

Seymour Canyon BC - OC1 Descent Video.

Hey Guys! Finally got the levels and the crew to do the Seymour Canyon in North Vancouver BC. Went Pretty well considering you cant really scout and have to just go by the beta from eddies up stream of the drops. Showing up there felt pretty awesome, Level was sitting around 2.4ish. Had a great crew...

Re: Icon, Idol, or Meridian dry suit?

Hey, I was in the same boat about a month ago, So many choices. I ended up going with the Idol, Couple main reason, - I guide canoe trips in the summer, and i am looking for flexibility where I can put on the pants when I wake up, with rain coat, then zip up the rest right before paddling. - Talking...

Re: The NorthWest Creeking Comp!

I probably won't race this year, but I would love to boat with you while you're down here. I've paddled the East Fork Lewis and Canyon Creek in my canoe. In 2013 I was the lone C1'r in a Cascade. I swam at Dragon's back but I eventually finished the race. In 2014 I helped with safety. It's really f...

Re: Ledge lite

I have two and will be letting one go, but must talk to a guy who has first dibs on it. If he can't pull the trigger on it I'll be putting on the board soon. I'm in Picton so it wouldn't be too far away. If the boat that you are refereing to is a Ledge lite. I would be very interested in it. :) Tha...
