OC1 advice
Yes indeed some very good suggestions on OC1.
I like Esquif boats - Spark, Zephyr (sp), Detonator. :D  :D
I paddle a spark and a MR Outrage.
As for OC1 courses you could also go to Charlemont MA and take a class through Zoar Outdoor. They also have the above boats in their training fleet ...

Hi it sounds like your Rival is delaminating. The very outer layer of the royalex is coming off. There is an expoy like stuff you used to beable to purchase from voyager (not in busi anymore) that would fix that right up. Contact Blue Moutain Outfitters in Marysville, PA and as them what they would ...

I am curious. You say that your pedestal if off center in the Spark by a couple inches. Is it from left to right or from bow to stern?
Just very curious. Thanks in advance.
Also wanted to let you know that the Stabond worked great on the vinyl patches. Was able to clean off the old adhesive ...

I would send and e-mail to Jon Kaz at Millbrookboats and ask him the questions you are posting.
The boat is his design. Don't forget that the Spark has a cab forward design - it is based of the Kaz's Ignitor just shorter.
The Spark reallly surfs and also back surfs.
As for your Outrage ...

Stabond Adhesive for R-84
Esquif recommends Stabond Adhesive which you can by through NRS for adhereing vinyl patches to the Spark which is r-84/royalite.
Bag cage vinly patches have come undone in the front on the chine.
Esquif recommends Stabond over Vynabond.

OC1 lessons
Yes I agree with the above. You can also get a private lesson from Zoar if you want and request the aforementioned Scott for an instructor if you would like. Zoar is a great place to take lessons from - they also have several different OC1 to choose from - even some Esquifs. :D
