WTB Beater saddle for long boat
I have a Dagger Legend 16 that is just sitting around unused since I got my OCtane a year ago. I wanna use it on local runs when I'm taking a novice out to try out open boating in the OCtane. I need an old saddle that I can stuff in the middle to make it tolerable to paddle solo. Anyone have a solut...

WTB: C1 Creeker
Looking for a converted Nomad 8.5, Jefe Grande, Karnali, or other similar large volume creeker.
I really hate thigh/knee straps, so something with a foam bulkhead is preferred.

Re: Trade a Vertige X Tandem for Tandem River Tripper
Do you have bigger pics you can send me or post? I have a Legend 16. It's been wrapped once and repaired by professionals. Crack in the stern that has been repaired as well. Just want to let you know up front it's been well used. It's mighty fine for non-rocky whitewater and lake use. s.oshields@gma...

Re: FS: Kokatat XL GFE Drysuit
Shane,
Seth again. I'm at home and bored, so I thought I'd contact you on a third front just for the hades of it. $325 sounds even gooder.....yes, gooder, than the 350 I saw on BT. I'll take it. Can you meet me halfway, or are you unable to drive outta town?

Canyoneer Search and Rescue has a composite toe. I've saved many a stubbed/squashed toe in the water because of this feature.

Re: Upper Nantahala 9/29-30
floated the upper yesterday after all the rain. The wood isn't really that big of a problem. We didn't have to portage anything, but did have to be careful in a couple of spots. Someone with little boat control or a bad angle on some of the drops could have problems. It was our first time on that re...

FiveTen Canyoneers. I can't recommend them enough. I bought the composite toe version a year ago to do off-trail hiking and creek climbing here in NC. (we have a few slot canyons here. You just have to know where to look for 'em) I got into open boating about this time last year, and started using t...

No Cascades for me. Hopefully I'll be able to handle that kind of run by the spring '13 releases. I'm feeling like I'll be able to handle the upper without much trouble.

What are everyone's plans for the first recreational releases this reach has seen? I'm busy with the Outdoorsman Triathlon during the 425cfs release on Sunday morning , but plan on being there for the Saturday release of 300cfs. Anyone have an opinion of this reach at the low 250cfs release planned ...
