Re: tandem rolling

The book "the thrill of the paddle" has the best description of tandem rolls that I've found. It is brief but probably more in depth than the other article you read. Good luck, I'm still looking for a partner to try it with.

Re: Winter in the Grand Canyon

Nice pics! It's cool to finally be able to say "I was there", or "I remember that". We paddled my caption with raft support in October with 16,000 cfs. I really miss that place! It sure was nice to have a virtually empty canoe while paddling down there.

Re: C1 conversion suggestions

Where are you visiting?! Come paddle my boat if you can. The animas is super low right now but there is still enough to try out a boat. I am loving the ez! It is super fun and I'd like to think that I am progressing with it.

Re: C1 conversion suggestions

Darren right?
Had to respond since I bought that ez off of you. I have a remix 79 that I think is a lot of fun. I'm about 170 lbs. and 6'1" I am definitely not using it for anything but river running since it floats like a cork with me in it. Try one out if you can you will probably like it.

used to be the ovation got all the action. had to get rid of her to make room for the prelude, who now gets all the action. my other boats are super jealous!

smurf probably has more invested in foam for that boat than my whole boat cost me! it does look bomber though. i am going to start with one inch sheets and see if that helps. then i can always add another.

i do have float bags filling up all of the area in front of my bulkhead and the stern bag is on top of my feet. the cockpit area is just full when i get back up. to the point of having to get to shore very gingerly, not to mention quickly!
