I can second the use of mineral spirits. It is a lot less caustic then the other solvents mentioned earlier and I would imagine a lot safer both to the user and the ABS. Thanks for the response so far. I have been lurking for a long time and have learned lots here. I figured there might be a serial number but unfortunately, not on this one - someone must have fallen asleep at the switch. Maybe it doesn't really matter, but I was never clear if there was a difference...

Wanted: Mad River Flashback repair help

I am rehabbing an older green Mad River Flashback. I am not sure if it is an original Flashback or a Flashback II, how to tell the difference, or if it even makes any difference. Regardless, it needs new thwarts and gunwales. I need to know how many thwarts, how long, and the location of the thwarts...
