Do not buy a canoe from Confluence Kayak Co.
Why are they posting this big long screed about rowing frames on a canoe forum? It shows you how out of touch they are. If you are going to buy a canoe, get one from Esquif, Bell, or Mohawk, companies that are not mega-conglomerate corporations and that still care about their customers.

The only response I got was a guy telling me to post the question on the GCA board. Well THWT, I thought this was ...

3-M structural adhesive vs. West Systems G-Flex epoxy?
Which is best to repair a crack all the way through a Royalex hull prior to armoring it? I have used 3M before and had good results as it is very strong and flexible, the same attributes G-Flex is touted as having.
Thanks for your input.

Drysuit repair question
I have a Gore Tex drysuit with latex booties I put in it. It has a new neck gasket and I am getting ready to replace a wrist gasket. I sent it to Amigos last year and they did a good job patching a bunch of pinholes and a couple of larger rips. Now my question

You guys are the best. Thank you
Phil, I especially appreciate the PDF on G/Flex application to Royalex. Have you used that stuff?
Thanks Gary, for the detailed primer on S-glass repair. I will stick with ABS patches as I have had very good luck with them.

Will Lyons is one of the best Cboaters in the SE
Unfortunately I understand he has been toying around with the dark side. He makes some good points about discomfort but hey, we are all masochists here anyway, right@

Cracked Outrage, question about best glue
This boat has been paddled 16 times in 10 months. I am waiting to see if Confluence will make good on the warranty. If not you will hear the full story here late.
In the meantime, I need avice on the best glue to seal up the crack. It is in the stern right in the middle of the hull, about ...
