I have a large Fluid Flirt hull and a Mountain Surf C-1 skirt for sale. The Flirt has a fair amount of oil canning but is in otherwise decent shape. The skirt keyhole and tunnel are both large. It's used but in decent shape. I bought it from Jeremy Laucks last year.

I just did this with an old K-1 paddle. I haven't used it on the water yet, but it looks pretty darn good and it was sure of a hades lot cheaper than buying a new C-1 paddle. Total cost? $0.

I don't know if this is still for sale or not but I PMed you.

Does "righty" mean that your right hand controls the blade angle, like in a K-1 (i.e. your right hand is on the T-grip) or that you paddle on the right side of your boat, in which case your left hand would be on the T-grip?

Okay, I understand what ALF is now but who the heck is "Louie." All I can gather is that it is some sort of deragatory name for an open boater but I don't see the connection.

After searching the forum, I realize now that "what paddle length?" is a pretty stupid question. I thought there might be an easy formula but there is not.

I think I will try the K-1 paddle conversion anyway. I've nothing better to do. I'll let you know how it turns out :D

1. How do I know what size my paddle should be? I'm 6'3" and will paddle a converted Large Fluid Flirt. I will mostly be playboating, if that helps.

2. Where can I find a t-grip? I have a K-1 paddle that I would like to convert to a C-1 paddle. Has ...
