Description:
Imported from Germany by Wick Walker and widely copied with permission from the designer, Paul Hahn. Both it and the Sweet-Hahn are 73cm in width, the first boats less than 80cm in the US. I imported an 80cm Hahn in 1970 but it was never molded as the ICF specs changed the following year. I bought one from Wolfgang Peters in 1970 to use in Europe and sold it there. To my knowledge none other was ever brought to the US. The 80cm boat was somewhat asymmetrical, rounded deck and hull, no molded-in ribs that I can recall. It had little blips near the ends of the desk to make the ends higher than the middle, per rules of the day. If I turn up a photo I will let you know.-JRS
